Congrats again to Kevin Yee for scooping everyone on the existance of a master plan for the Western Beltway property. The Orlando Sentinel has now verified the project’s existence with county planners. Sounds like any serious development is still a long way off, however.
Disney might, however, want to consider building some low income housing for its cast members out there. At the rate Disney is going, they’ll be importing workers from India before long.
That was the original rumor going around the Utilidors a few years ago… a planned community that cast members could afford to live in. Would be a shame if it has turned entirely into a downtown complex, but that’s most likely the case.
