Disney opens Game Design Studio specific to Nintendo

Looking to capture some of the wave created by Nintendo’s Wii console, Disney is opening a game design studio devoted to the platform.

Scott Novis, who headed the Rainbow Studios team that developed the popular video game based on the Disney Pixar film "Cars," was tapped to be vice president and general manager for Disney’s new Fall Line Studio, based in Salt Lake City.

Disney’s been making a number fo moves in this area recently. Be interesting to see what the result is 12 months from now. (Read)
