Disney fans profiled

  • by

Some of the wonderful people who hang out on LaughingPlace.com were recently profiled in the Contra Costa Times.

What began as online chatter has evolved into a tight-knit group of
14 travel buddies who rendezvous at Disneyland twice a year, celebrate
birthdays in British Columbia or Oregon and take spontaneous road trips
together.

There are 24-year-olds and fortysomethings, men and women,
attorneys, graphic artists and stay-at-home moms. They hail from
California, Texas, Arizona and British Columbia. Some have children.
Some are single. And every one of them, at some point, went online at
LaughingPlace.com, a Disney fan site whose vibrant discussion boards
yield the latest on Disneyland hotels, restaurants and rides.

If you’re looking for a friendly, family place to hang out and share your Disney obsession with, you can’t do any better than LaughingPlace.com. Although I’ve missed the last few, LP’s summer meets are always lots of fun and it’s great to put a face on someone who you know only from online.
