Have a Tiki Tiki Birthday Birdies

As mentioned on Tiki Talk today is the 43rd birthday (ignore all those sites that say Tiki turned 41 today) for Disneyland’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Walt’s fabulous singing birds have been wowwing audiences with their life like show since 1963. Tiki Talk also links to some Tiki Room sounds and pics from Tiki Rooms around the world.

Apparently June 23rd is a popular day for Disney attraction grand openings. Other attractions sharing this date are: Disneyland’s Skyway to Fantasyland and Skyway to Tomorrowland (1956), Walt Disney World’s Dreamflight (1989), The Spirit of Pocahontas at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre (1995), and Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland (1999).
