I consider this unlikely, but rumors are going around that Apple may leverage their market position to buy the Walt Disney Company. The dollars are there since Disney appears to be undervalued.
I don’t know if I like this or not. I guess it depends what Apple does with the company. Mainly I worry about the theme parks because that is my passion.

You’re wrong. It’s very, very likely.
Likely? Yeah, right. The two companies have little in common when looked at in the big picture. Disney would have very little to gain and thus would have little desire in such a deal. A hostile takeover is doubtful and the very idea that Disney is undervalued actually plays against such a merger.
If Apple were to come forward with such a suggestion it would quickly become the next Comcast punching bag.
It ain’t going to happen.
How can there be rumors (plural) when there’s only one story on it, quoting a single analysts?
Apple, Microsoft and Google are hellbent on taking over the whole planet. It’s going to be interesting to see who will be the “ultimate” corporation.
