Disney Auctions leaves eBay behind

  • by

I must have missed the official announcement, but Disney recent moved their internet auction operations off of planet eBay and into the Disney.com mothership. This means some slight changes in policy for bidders, Disney no longer has to pay eBay any fees, and probably means lower overall viewership as well (translation, fewer competing bids). So you might be able to find some good bargains there.

Combine this with DisneyShopping.com’s move away from print catalogs and you have a total shakeup over at Disney Consumer Products. I wonder what caused that. (via about.com)

  1. Hey I didn’t know that either. I did still see some theme park stuff on eBay recently, I wonder if they still have both.

  2. Where can I find information regarding what price I should ask for two WDW signs that were hung in the park? Where can I find buyers? Thanks.

  3. What is the Disney.com mothership? Sorry for stupid questions…I’m new to this stuff and just want to sell a couple things. Thanks.

  4. while enjoying a bowl of the cereal(poc), i found a 3-4 inch piece of something in it, it appeared to have hair or fiber coming out of it, a lawyer is being contacted.

  5. Do they have Favorite Searches on the new Disney Auctions site? I don’t see anyplace for that.

  6. I am trying to find out if I can purchase a disneyland trach can that has a picture of Jiminy Cricket. They are used at the theme park.
