The Pixar Animation buyout, as cool as it is, won’t be complete for another few months. But David Stainton, former head of Disney Feature Animation has already move out. So Don Hahn, who is know for his storytelling and creative abilities, has been appointed temporary head of WDFA. Don’t know what the practical affect of this will be since word is that Ed Catmul and John Lasseter are pretty much going full speed ahead down there. I guess they need someone to sign the checks.. although I thought Mickey Mouse, the big cheese, did that. (via)
