Disney has decided to expand their offerings available to download on the iTunes Music Store (which also offers Video, so really needs a name change). Among the new shows is the opportunity to purchase the Schoolhouse Rock segments from Saturday Mornings in the 1970s.
They also announced that ad supported free video podcasts of some ABC news shows will be released. Looking forward to that as well.
While I think this is a great move for Disney part of me wonders if this isn’t part of Bob Iger’s strategy to scratch Steve Jobs back at Apple in the hopes that the Pixar deal will bend a little more in Disney’s favor.
