Viacom will buy DreamWorks SKG which will give Paramount the right to distribute the animated features released by DreamWorks Animation, which was earlier spun off as a separate company. Of course, the pressure is still on DreamWorks Animation to produce another Shrek level hit. Until then, they’ve dropped off the radar as a serious threat to Pixar and Disney, IMHO.
