Narnia doth approach

A little bit more Narnia News to spread around.

First BoingBoing.net is attempting to stir the pot a little bit by publishing a letter from C.S. Lewis that insists a live action version should not be made, nor should Disney be allowed to do a cartoon version. Those might have been very good arguments at the time of the letter, but technology and Disney has changed since then. But it will be interesting to see how the anthropromorphic characters work out. (So far, so good from what I’ve seen.)

Second, if you haven’t already, you might want to go see the 9-minute preview for the film. It’s hosted in Sweden, so you might have to be patient while it downloads.

Finally, Disney is attempting to forge some new promotional ground by making previews and other clips from Narnia available to download directly to one’s video iPod.  Just visit the official site. I’m hoping to try it tonight and tell you how it goes. (Don’t forget to enter the sweepstakes while you’re there.)

With all the hubbub, I think we’re just waiting for one more thing before our Narnia experience is complete, the film as performed by Bunnies version.
