SeaWorld Orlando is in the middle of an upgrade to its famous Shamu show. But one upgrade has come a little early, a baby Killer Whale was born. Takara was born late Wednesday and is available for public viewing as she acclimates to her surroundings and swims with her mother.

Takara is the mother :) The calf is possibly a male and has not been named yet.
I was just at SeaWorld yesterday and spoke with a trainer who said to keep an eye on the seaworld website for a ‘name the killer whale’ contest. I’m suggesting ‘Indigo’.
