The recent sad incident that involved the death of a 4-year old while experiencing Epcot’s Mission: Space put the spotlight on the theme park’s emergency reaction plans. General consensus is that reaction time was great, but that the 2-minutes that elapsed during the 911 call before anyone began CPR was not according to training and procedures.

The Orlando Sentinel has a story that lists the emergency preparations for each central Florida themepark and the renewed calls for some state oversight.
