Walt’s Revolution: By the Numbers

Last fall I had the opportunity to attend IAAPA‘s 2005 convention in Orlando. It was an amazing event and I inflated my knowledge of the Amusement Industry significantly by attending some of the seminars there. I’ve been meaning to write about the experience but I misplaced many of my notes during my move to Orlando. As I find them I hope to share some of what I learned.

Walt’s Revolution: By the Numbers! is a book by Harrison “Buzz” Price, the man behind the studies that ultimately determined the locations of Disneyland and Walt Disney World. His consulting company also worked with many other theme park developers including Sea World, Busch, etc.. Anyone who is at all interested in how the Theme park industry came into being, or advice on the future of the industry, should get their hands on a copy of this book.
