The Last Slow Walk

There’s one more bittersweet Disneyland moment that I always experience each and every visit, whether I want to or not, and that’s making that final, slow walk down Main Street toward Main Street Station and the exit gate. Usually for me it’s been an open-to-close, 14-hour adventure. My feet are screaming, my pals have had enough last minute shopping, and I’ll even admit that sleep sounds like a good idea. So, I take in all those beautiful Main Street lights, listen to the ragtime, smell the bakery, and try to make it all last until my next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

It’s been a great experience being a guest blogger here on The Disney Blog, especially focusing my writing 100% on Disney subjects, since I’m used to writing more diversely on my own blog, WEBmikey. Thanks again to John for letting me participate! And now, back to your usual fantastic source of daily Disney news and information.
