Here’s a short write up of an art installation that attempted to reimagine the original Disneyland Map. Alas, there isn’t much detail provided. I’d love to get more info from anyone who attended.
If the graffiti of "Re-Imagineering" saluted Dada more than Donald
Duck, all the better to create a "jarring, alternate reality for
parkgoers" which Tavel plans to export to Orlando. Though lack of funds
have temporarily stalled the project, she hopes eventually to drop-lift
reprints of the altered map in locations throughout Disneyworld.
I guess someone should tell her that Disneyland and Disneyworld differ significantly on the map and that park management may not take kindly to her efforts to confuse tourists.
