It must be horrible beyond comprehension to lose friends or family, or all your personal possessions in hurricane related weather. But when you’re inside the boundaries of Walt Disney World or other tourist destinations, you’re isolated from those reports. All you know is you want to get out and play and enjoy your vacation. The OrlandoSentinel files another report on tourists with cabin fever. It sounds awful, but some of these people have planned this to be their once in a lifetime trip to the area and may not have any vacation time available for months or years. So they have to make the best of the cards they’re dealt.
Which brings me to my point, donate now to the red cross. If you don’t feel you can donate, or have done so already, plan a trip to Florida. Help rebuild the economy there with your vacation dollars.
