I’m still following up on all my sources, but it looks like Disney World escaped its second hurricane in a month with only minor damage. Most of the horticulture that was vunerable to high winds were knocked down by Charley and Disney’s impressive building code seems to have done the job otherwise. If there is any damage to Disney property out there, I’m sure stories and pictures will be forthcoming shortly.
Now let’s keep our fingers crossed the Ivan decides not to make landfall at all.
