Mickey Mouse must be a real sports fan because the former owner of the Angels, the current owner of the Mighty Ducks, and the many ESPN networks (5? now) is launching a new product this summer. It’s ESPN the Weekend. I’m a little disappointed I’m not going to be there as some of the names scheduled to attend are amazing. It takes place at the Disney-MGM Studios Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1, 2004. Which leaves me to wonder why there are no events scheduled at the Wide World of Sports complex… and of course the answer is Football Training Camp for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’d love to be there for that too.
