Further thoughts on the Dreamworks IPO being a real thorn in the side of Disney. Business Week Online has a story titled:DreamWorks’ IPO, Disney’s Nightmare. The ol Grey Lady has a few thoughts as well in their coverage. And of course there is the coverage from LA’s main rag, the LA Times.
Will this have an impact on Pixar’s decision to leave the mouse house? Who knows? I do find it interesting that two of the stories above make a point of mentioning the 1200 person staff at Dreamworks Animation compared with Disney’s 650 in their feature animation division (and that number may be a little high, or so I hear).
